Our Internal Systems
Here are the tools and systems we use to build, communicate, and run the company.
Slack
Our primary communication tool. All day-to-day conversation happens here — team chat, project discussions, standups, and quick questions. You'll be invited to the relevant channels on your first day.
Superthread
Our project management and task tracking tool. This is where work gets organized — tasks, priorities, and project progress. Stacey will walk you through how we use it during onboarding.
GitHub
All of our code lives on GitHub. You'll get access to the relevant repositories on your first day. We use pull requests for code review. If you're not familiar with our Git workflow, a teammate will walk you through it.
Toggl
We track our working hours in Toggl. Log your time daily against the appropriate project. This is important for client billing and understanding how we spend our time.
Payment Evolution
Our payroll system. You'll receive pay stubs through PayChequer (Payment Evolution's employee portal). You'll get an invitation to set up your PayChequer access during onboarding.
Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace for email, calendar, documents, and file storage. Your @sevenview.ca email will be set up before your first day.
1Password
We use 1Password for shared credentials and secrets. Never store passwords in plain text, Slack messages, or documents. If you need access to a shared credential, ask Steve.
